Black Swan Consulting, Inc is a woman and minority owned management consulting firm that provides a myriad of high-quality services, including coaching, consulting, advisory support, technical assistance, training and speaking. We specialize in strategic planning, business development, financial planning & analysis and government contracting.

Our mission is to help busy entrepreneurs build long-term growth strategies, and solid financial frameworks so that they can run their small businesses with a big business mindset. We have offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Reno, Nevada and are proud to mention that over 150 small businesses have benefited from our coaching, training, and consulting services since 2020.

Our unique business planning process, tailored to the needs of service operations, involves close collaboration with your management team to help clarify and document your strategy. Together, we build a customized business model and high-impact execution plan that is lender ready and scalable.

Black Swan offers guidance and technical assistance to help minority-owned and woman-owned firms manage the complex process of becoming government contractors. We assist small businesses obtain certifications, register their firms as vendors, and promote their services to government agencies and prime contractors who are looking to do business with a set socioeconomic group.

Our Founder

Sydonie Neysmith is the founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Black Swan Consulting, Inc, a management consulting firm with locations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Reno, Nevada. She helps busy entrepreneurs with developing strategies to grow their business and prepare for applying for funding. Her life mission is to assist women entrepreneurs in interpreting their financials and position themselves for success.

Sydonie has over 20 years of experience developing budgets, forecast and strategic planning, for Fortune 500 and 1000 companies. She has a bachelor's degree from Concordia College and an MBA from the Huizenga School of Business, Nova Southeastern University. Mrs. Neysmith is a Certified Business Consultant and an adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Sydonie Neysmith launched Black Swan Consulting, Inc. in 2012 as a meetings and events company that organized business gatherings for various groups. Having suffered horribly from the effects of COVID-19 , she used her expertise to restructure her own firm, and during the process she discovered that there was an overwhelming need for similar services within the small business sector. This gave her the motivation to be a resource for providing unmatched business services and support to women and minority owned businesses.

Since the founding of the Black Swan brands, Sydonie Neysmith, has grown her company’s reputation for providing unsurpassed customer service by focusing on her clients’ needs with a keen sense for consistency and exceptional quality of services. As a result of her superior business acumen, value-centric focus, and approach, coupled with her best value offerings, the company has been recognized for great partnership and exceptional services.

Sydonie is a firm believer in lifelong learning, preserving relationships, and giving back to the community. She holds a board position for the Organization of Women in International Trade; she is SCORE certified mentor and workshop presenter, and a mentor for NSU Florida's Business School’s Alumni.
